Privacy Policy

DBCOD — a product of Dynamics Bridge. Last updated: 22 September 2026.

DBCOD (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) helps merchants automate cash-on-delivery (COD) order confirmation, tracking and operations. This policy explains what data we process and why.

Who controls the data

Each merchant (our customer) is the controller of their store and customer data. We act as a processor, handling that data on the merchant’s behalf to provide the Service.

What we process

How we use it

Only to provide and improve the Service for that merchant — never sold, and never used for advertising.

Sharing

Data is shared only with the services needed to deliver the Service: Shopify (the merchant’s own store), Meta/WhatsApp (for messaging, if connected), and the courier(s) the merchant chooses. We do not share data with any other third parties.

Storage & security

Data is stored on our secured server. Credentials and API tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted, transport is over HTTPS, and backups are kept for recovery.

Retention & deletion

We keep data while the merchant uses the Service. On a Shopify data-erasure request (customers/redact) we anonymise the relevant customer’s personal data; on store erasure (shop/redact) or account closure we remove the store’s data. Merchants can request deletion at any time.
